ESPN - Team USA gets a taste of redemption against Greece - Olympics

First let me say a word, these 5:00am games (PST) are not working for me.  I have to wait until after work to watch them on the DVR, and it's basically impossible to avoid hearing the score at some point during the day.

On the plus side however, the US paid back Greece nice and soundly.  It was an amazing game of defense and dunks after some bizarre officiating in the first quarter in which Jason Kidd picked up three fouls in first minute and a half of the game.  

LeBron sparked the defense with 3 outstanding blocks around the rim.  D. Wade was again outstanding off the bench with 17 and 6 steals.  Kobe Bryant and Chris Bosh led the squad with 18 points a piece.

It was definitely a statement game, and for this fan, it was nice to see the Greek pick and roll played largely ineffectively against the scrappy US defense.  

Final score: 92-69
