  • "actually there was a Meetup.com group that played at the Norwalk YMCA but i
never went since i'm not a member and didnt want to pay the daily visitor
    fees

i don't know of other public indoor pickup games

i played in an indoor league at the Stamford NYSC, but it was really
expensive and had bad refs and slippery floors and wasnt worth it"

  • "yo thanks RC, i'll consider that, but 7:30 is kinda late for an every week thing.  i have a Y membership- does anyone else have it  because you can be a guest at local YMCAs. where else can you ball indoors ?"
by: Theluv12 on Sat, Jan 09
  • "I havent gone in a while and am not 100% sure that it's still going on (but
    80% sure).

Weds have always been totally free.

As for Sunday mornings, there is no "league", but you can't play for free:
instead you pay something like $100 up front for the right to play in the
group on Sunday mornings.  In the summer, Sunday games are at Compo Beach
instead of Weston High.  If Compo Beach people try to make you pay for
parking, you can tell them that you're with Sunday Morning Hoops and don't
need to pay for parking since it was negotiated by Parks n Rec.

For either Weds or Sun, bring 1 black and 1 white shirt (not gray or other
    colors)."
